Cosmetic Dentures

This is a cosmetic partial acrylic denture on a cobalt chrome base. The acrylic used is of high impact resistant structure which strengthens the design and longevity. This type of prosthesis costs £450-£600 and represents a removable, alternative option to dental implants.

It was fabricated by our dental technicians, Leca Dental Laboratory. As with all their private cosmetic work they have used a high impact acrylic with a contoured anatomical design which brilliantly mimics the dental anatomy of the soft tissues.

If you look a little more closely you might see that they have built in a little gum recession- something which might be expected in a patient from middle age onwards.

Different types of cosmetic dentures

Dentures are acrylic teeth fused to an acrylic plate and are used to replace missing teeth. They can involve a single tooth, multiple teeth or a full set of teeth. Below are our prices for private dentures.

Upper partial acrylic dentures

1 to 3 teeth - £175 - £300
4 to 8 teeth - £200 - £350
9 or more teeth - £225 - £375
Full Acrylic Denture
Full Upper or Lower - £225-£400
Upper and Lower set - £450-£650

Cobalt chrome dentures

A cobalt chrome denture has a metal framework and so is stronger than acrylic. It clips onto existing teeth and therefore has better retention.

1 to 3 teeth - £325 - £550
4 to 8 teeth - £350 - £600
9 or More teeth - £375 - £625

Valplast or Perflex cosmetic dentures

These are very strong and flexible partial dentures which can be made in thin section with pink (gum coloured) clasps.

This treatment is available privately for £450 and dental finance is available to help spread the cost.

Note: These prices were correct at time of writing but please check with our reception staff to make sure you have the most up to date prices for dentures.
