Appletree is a long-established, friendly professional dental practice in Glasgow. It has a great reputation for cosmetic dentistry, particularly dental implants but also provides more routine dentistry both privately and on the NHS. New patients - even those who have not visited a dentist for many years - are made very welcome and are usually offered a free initial consultation to discuss their pressing dental needs.

Born and bred in Glasgow, Imaon graduated from the University of Dundee in 2013, and completed his VT year in Wick.
He then went on to work within Dundee Dental Hospital and the Public Dental Service in Tayside, jobs which afforded him a greater depth and breadth of knowledge and allowed him to work in a range of specialties and with a wide spectrum of patients.
He returned to working in general practice in 2017, where his passions include endodontics, working with patients to achieve their dream smiles through minimally invasive dentistry such as Invisalign Go, and aesthetic dentistry such as whitening and composite bonding.
He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, and has a particular interest in helping patients with dental anxiety; he has experience in both CBT and the use of inhalation sedation to make the dental experience as positive as possible.

Dr Murphy on accepting dentist referrals:
I've often came up against patients with a negative regard for the pricing and ambiguity or complexity of planning amongst our profession. We have worked hard on this and you'll find our reward at the top of a Google search for dentist Glasgow prices.
We take referrals from approx 12-14 practices and 22-25 dental principals or associates. We are not an all implant practice and many cases are heavy wear or reconstructive, mixed ortho and porcelain. I use a lot of NT alternative splints, generally well tolerated, retainers (using ESSIX material, must be essix for durability in those cases) are a good alternative.
I am not a specialist. We don't advertise for referrals but I tend to stumble on new and interested referral sources. I've been practicing in the Glasgow area for 26 years. I've never had a patient complaint that involved the GDC, never a warning or hearing- although await the day when someone may try and change that....it seems so litigious out there!
If referred patients ask to stay here after treatment is completed we say no.
If you want to be involved in treatment or attend, use photos we say yes!
Referrals can be made by telephone, email, post, fax or by using our contact form. Patients can usually be seen within two weeks.
You do not need to be a Glasgow dentist to contact us. We accept referrals from all over Scotland
