Four brave ladies from Appletree Dental Care battled through mud, sweat and fears to help raise several hundred pounds for a very worthwhile cause.
Laura Herdman, Andrea Wilson, Laura Bell and Cherie Murphy were among a couple of hundred hardy souls who took part in the Strathcarron Hospice Swamp Challenge.
The ladies faced a two-mile long obstacle course which involved wading through mud-filled streams and crawling on mud underneath cargo netting. The threat of creepy-crawlies was ever present, adding to the testing conditions.
But after the hour-long trial at Cloybank Estate, Banknock, the fearless four reckoned it was so much fun, they can’t wait to try again next year.
